Chris Rock's The Pot Calling The Kettle Black!

In recent reports Chris Rock has accused Kali Bowyer of everything from being a criminal to a liar; See statement from Rock released to TMZ (who the hell has a press release and sends it only to tmz?)

Rock: "Though we prefer to keep our private life out of the media, we feel that it is necessary to respond to the many grossly inaccurate media reports that were sold to the tabloids by Kali Bowyer who falsely claimed that Chris Rock fathered her 13-year-old son. After multiple lies, including that Chris refused to establish paternity and after finding out that Ms. Bowyer has an extensive criminal record, we personally asked the court to help us establish paternity so that we could put this harassment to rest."

Let’s see something here for a minute….hmm “ the many grossly inaccurate media reports that were sold to the tabloids by Kali “…. The only tabloid was the one “national enquirer” , I would not call one "many" (perhaps his calculator does not work).

Bowyer:"These tabloids, news websites and blogs report as if I have spoken with them. They take bits and pieces of different things, information, and piece something together. As for the secret sources that wish to exaggerate/add situations, I will let my lawyers deal with them."

Rock:“ who falsely claimed that Chris Rock fathered her 13-year-old son.”

Also in her statement, Bowyer said she is not "100 percent" sure Rock is the father.

Bowyer:"If I were 100 percent positive I would not have requested a DNA test. I would have gone to the lawyers and courts for child support order," she said. "It's hard enough for a parent of any child to seek such a test, let alone someone in the public eye.","I have never stated publicly or privately that in fact I am 100 percent positive that Chris is the father.”

That does not sound like she claimed anything but claiming there is a chance that Chris is the father. Moving on to Chris next lie…..

Rock: “we personally asked the court to help us establish paternity “

Bowyer filed papers in the Bulloch County Courthouse in March seeking to compel Rock to a paternity test. News of the filing broke in April and Bowyer then indicated the case would be moved to New York. However, shortly after it was moved, the case was returned to Statesboro at the request of Rock's attorney.

Uh, sorry Chris she filed first according to court doc’s! Why does he continue to lie and try to make her out to be the nutt? Lucky for us I did some research! Ok for those of you who do not know who Stephen Barnes is, he is one of Chris Rocks lawyer

Ms. Bower,

I must admit I am confused by our last telephone conversation and thisemail. Just so we're clear, when you called me after more than a 10 yearabsence to ask if Chris would take a DNA test, I told you we would cooperate withyou and that (1) I would want to have a confidentiality agreement signedbetween you, your son and Chris, (2) I would consult a family law attorneyregarding how the test would be conducted and (3) Chris was unavailable forapproximately 2 weeks. You agreed to all of the above. I have takenevery telephone call from you, discussed the reasons you've indicated youwanted the test: because your son has been having seizures and you wanted toknow the father's medical and family history and reiterated Chris'willingness to take the test along with you and your son. Despite my immediate expression of Chris' willingness to cooperate, youbegan insisting that Chris should immediately take a test wherever he isand barring that you would initiate legal proceedings. Not even a week haspassed. You have not been ignored but you act as though have. You seemto feel as though filing is your only alternative and that somehow Chriswould be obligated to take a test sooner than he otherwise would takeone. I have a contrary point of view about that but I know that decision isyours to make. If your intention is to find out who the father is as soon aspossible I do not think utilizing the legal process as a means ofcoercing Chris when he is already cooperating is the way to go. If you have otherintentions obviously we will have to deal with it. For whatever its worth, I offer the following suggestion. Given Ibelieve a contested process will take much longer than one that is cooperative andbe more expensive for you and Chris, I would ask that you wait until Chrisreturns as we originally discussed and if for some reason you arefurther delayed, take whatever action you feel is appropriate.
